An overview of researches on mathematics education with emphasis on their objectives and results

Abstract
This paper is an overview of researches in the field of mathematics education from 2010 to present, and is based on meta-analysis of these researches from comparative and causal perspectives. The analytical study focuses on objectives and results of the researches. in totality, 20 articles were analyzed. The analysis focuses on the objectives and results which are obtained from researches on mathematics education. Especially in mathematics education, almost equal numbers of research on psychology of learning and methods of training and using information technologies have been done. Researchers in most of these studies use quantitative methods and benefit from statistical analysis. All researchers who are interested in the use of information technology in mathematics education acknowledge that there is a positive role of it on mathematics education. in studies of the psychology of learning mathematics, various method in teaching mathematics, gender and place role, the influence of instructional design in determining educator performance, the effectiveness of studies methods on learning mathematics, application of modeling in teaching and the role of games have been discussed.
